Hi Guys,
Fantastic shows this week, can’t tell you how happy I am to hear Peter doing a countdown to Whit friday, as you say, you can’t beat a good march, brilliant.
Loved the Brighouse feast this week Annie, always had a soft spot for Brigus. Chris on the principle Euphonium is a stunning, stunning musician, a lovely fella too, but to my mind, you’ll not get much better than a Mike Eccles solo, brings tears to one eyes, and once again, lovely, friendly chap. Look forward to seeing the purple machine on Whit Friday 👍🏻

Hi Guys,
Feels like Whit friday is almost touching distance away, I will be taking my usual vantage spot in the Denshaw oddfellows beer garden, after the morning walks, cheering on the fantastic bands from far and wide. I was wondering if you have ever done a ‘top ten’ style countdown of the very best marches to grace the streets of saddleworth and tameside? Just a thought, I for one would be eagerly awaiting the broadcast if you had ideas on putting something together. Keep up the excellent work, and thank you

I am so pleased I have found you, I used to play in Castletons silver band in my teenage years, have always loved proper band music, 74 years old now and still love it.

I've just discovered your internet site and would like to say how wonderful it is. The clarity of the music is first class. Having spent many years in a military band, followed up by playing in a local brass band, this genre is 'right up my street'. I wish you and your team every success in the future.

Loving the weekly radio casts, now I’ve mastered the art of downloading them. Drop them onto my playlists, and it’s a never ending flow of great programming. Perhaps a bit childish to have favourites, because I listen and enjoy them all, but I love Annie’s eclectic tastes, but fair play to all the presenters, not shy about playing anything good. Where else would you go from Knight Templar to Riot brass cover of Bon Jovi, brilliant shows guys and gals……

SO grateful for this site. It provided a constant flow of brass band music for my dementia affected mum when I had her living with me so that she did not need to be pressing buttons or changing CDs and more recently it has enabled my old school brass band pay tribute to the late MD/creator of the band giving us a "permanent" record of him and some of the school band music.
